Job summary

Infosys is seeking a senior Workday Payroll Functional Consultant to drive end-to-end payroll implementations, configurations, and production support. You will partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions.

You will design and deliver payroll solutions, lead workshops, and mentor teams while aligning with Workday leading practices and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Workday HCM experience with at least 5 years specializing in Workday Payroll.
• Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle Workday Payroll implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in Workday Payroll, Core HCM, Benefits.
• Experience configuring earnings, deductions, payroll calculations, payroll schedules, retro processing, payroll inputs, payroll validation rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Payroll implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
• Conduct client workshops and gather payroll-related business requirements.
• Configure and maintain: Pay Groups, Pay Components, Earnings, Deductions, Payroll Calculations, Payroll Schedules, Payroll Input Processing, Retroactive Payroll Adjustments, Payroll Validation Rules, Period Schedules.
• Configure and support payroll-related business processes and approval workflows.
• Design and configure payroll calculations in accordance with business and statutory requirements.
• Configure and maintain payroll elements such as taxes, deductions, garnishments, employer contributions, and benefit deductions.
• Support payroll parallel runs, payroll reconciliation, and cutover activities during implementation.
• Troubleshoot payroll calculation issues, processing errors, integration failures, and production defects.
• Develop and support payroll reports, audit reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Create functional specifications, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and user documentation.
• Perform SIT, UAT, regression testing, payroll validation, and deployment support activities.
• Conduct payroll audits and reconciliation activities to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Support Workday release management and evaluate new payroll features and enhancements.
• Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and compliance teams to ensure payroll governance and compliance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and project governance activities.
