Job summary

Demant in Denmark seeks a Systems Engineering professional to advance the approach across R&D, linking requirements, architecture, verification and quality. You will strengthen verification practices, improve traceability and defect management, and help teams turn data into practical improvements.

Experience with IBM ELM, DOORS Next Generation and analytics tools (Power BI) is valued, as is data-driven process improvement. The role is based at Demant HQ in Smørum, near Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years in engineering, quality, or product development with strong systems engineering understanding.
• Experience in requirements engineering, verification, test management, or defect management.
• Analytical mindset; able to turn data into meaningful improvements.
• Familiar with IBM ELM/DOORS Next Gen and analytics tools; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive effective use of engineering data by supporting rollout and improvement of IBM ELM and traceability.
• Build engineering capability through guidance, training, workshops and hands-on collaboration; explore AI/automation possibilities.
• Collaborate across R&D and Quality to translate Systems Engineering into usable ways of working.
• Turn defect data into learning and feed insights back into requirements and verification.
