Job summary

Tessero Czech Republic s.r.o. in Copenhagen is seeking an internal authority on biomass sustainability, certification, traceability and regulatory compliance to bridge sustainability requirements with commercial execution.

You will work with business development, QHSE, and innovation teams, ensuring certifications and audits are met and translating regulations into practical guidelines for commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in biomass sustainability, renewable energy, forestry certification or sustainability compliance.
• Hands on experience with SBP, FSC, PEFC or ISCC, and with Chain of Custody and traceability systems.
• Knowledge of RED II, RED III and/or EUDR, mass balance methods and GHG reporting.
• Experience supporting certifications and audits, with strong Excel and data skills.
• Fluent English; Danish, Norwegian or Swedish is an advantage.

• Maintaining Chain of Custody processes and full traceability of biomass feedstocks
• Managing mass balance systems and supporting GHG calculations and sustainability reporting
• Preparing and coordinating internal and external audits and acting as the contact for certification bodies and regulators
• Translating new regulation into practical guidance for commercial teams

The role

Our partner is a European resource management and biomass trading business, investing heavily in its biomass activities as markets move away from coal toward lower carbon energy. This newly created role will make you its internal authority on biomass sustainability, certification, traceability and regulatory compliance.

Based in Copenhagen and reporting to the Chief HR and QHSE Officer, you will bridge sustainability requirements and commercial execution, working with business development, QHSE and innovation teams. This is not an ESG reporting role: it combines certification management, supply chain traceability, regulatory interpretation and commercial partnership.

What you will be doing
