Systematic in Aarhus is seeking a Senior Security Specialist to join GRIT Security, a hands-on team handling security monitoring, threat detection, incident response and vulnerability management.

The job
As a Senior Specialist in GRIT Security, you will play a key role in keeping Systematic safe and compliant. You will work across security monitoring, threat detection, incident response and vulnerability management - with plenty of variety in your day-to-day work. The role is based in Aarhus, but we are also open to candidates based in Copenhagen.

You will join GRIT Security, an established and specialised team based across our offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen, working closely with our Security Operations Centre. We combine proactive security engineering with day-to-day monitoring and response, and every team member carries real autonomy and shared responsibility for keeping Systematic safe. Work runs in sprints, with a healthy mix of planned tasks and emerging priorities - so no two days look quite the same. Knowledge-sharing is central to how we work, so whatever the day brings, you will not be tackling it alone.
You have around 4–6 years’ experience working with IT security, ideally including hands-on experience in security operations and incident response - for example, in a SOC, CSIRT or CERT. You have a solid understanding of security configurations, monitoring and incident response, with hands-on experience in Microsoft security technologies, particularly Microsoft Defender and Azure. You are comfortable working across networking, Windows and Linux, and know your way around common attack techniques such as the MITRE ATT&CK framework. You use scripting, for example: Python or PowerShell, to automate parts of your work.
Fluent written and spoken English is required.
