This role involves working extensively with APL and C#/.NET technologies, collaborating with diverse teams, and ensuring high code quality through review processes.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and over 3 years of experience in software development. Benefits include a competitive salary, flexible work hours, and professional development pathways.

This position is a key part of SimCorp’s Private Debt initiative – a high‑priority project that is expanding to meet increasing client demand. The Senior Software Engineer will help design and deliver the core back‑office application that enables clients to make investment decisions.
The Private Debt module is primarily built in APL, with strong engineering practices around quality, code review, continuous delivery and reliability. As the system evolves, more C#/.NET work will be added, especially around architecture, cloud integration, platform enablement and new components.
Prior APL experience is not required. Curiosity and a willingness to learn are the key qualifications. SimCorp provides comprehensive training and support to help engineers become proficient in APL, and the company partly owns Dyalog APL.
