Job summary

SimCorp A/S is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Valuation & Market Data team. The role covers full development lifecycle, from user stories to testing and support, with a 40/60 split between C# and APL work and exposure to APIs/Web APIs in a SOA and Azure environment.

You will contribute to high-quality, scalable software for back-office applications and participate in test design, automation, and defect analysis. Training on APL is provided, with a hybrid work setup in Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• 1–8 years of experience in software development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core/Framework and OO design.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Interest in testing/quality assurance and ability to contribute across development and testing.
• Willingness to learn and dig into unfamiliar areas.
• Ability to work with complex architecture and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, and maintain applications.
• Implement robust solutions using C# and APL; participate in API/Web API work.
• Refine features with product management and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain core functionality to support business modules.
• Ensure software quality through testing, validation, and code reviews.
• Write and maintain unit tests; contribute to test automation when needed.
• Continuously learn and grow with the product and team.
