CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineer for the LogScale Search team in Aarhus. You will deliver features to scale the LogScale backend and ensure high availability across distributed systems.

Join a distributed team of engineers, own end‑to‑end features, write tests, review code, and help grow LogScale while collaborating with teams worldwide. The role is hybrid with 2‑3 days on‑site in Aarhus.

Qualifications

• Passion for distributed systems and curiosity about how running systems perform.
• Experience balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term product goals.
• Proven technical leadership in products or services.
• Fluency in functional and object‑oriented programming and ability to learn new languages.

Responsibilities

• Support teammates through code reviews, pairing, documentation, and design reviews.
• Lead by example on customer focus and monitor features after release.
• Deliver cross‑team initiatives by owning or participating in feature design and development.
• Develop the LogScale backend in Scala and scale ingest and query load for high availability.
• Collaborate across teams on new solutions, design docs, and internal documentation.
• Communicate crisply with global teams using strong verbal and written English.
