Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineer for the LogScale Search team in Aarhus to deliver scalable backend features and improve data processing for NG-SIEM. You will join a distributed team tackling hard engineering problems with autonomy and collaboration, influencing the LogScale architecture and product quality.

You will develop in Scala, own platform initiatives, and work with teams across the globe while maintaining high availability and solid production observability.

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and scalable backend architecture.
• Proficiency in functional and object-oriented programming, and learning new languages quickly.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and collaboration across teams.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with contributors and management.
• Ability to leverage AI technologies to improve processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop the LogScale backend in Scala and extend features to scale ingest and query load.
• Collaborate across teams on design docs, talks, and internal documentation.
• Lead by example with customer focus and operational excellence.
• Monitor and maintain feature quality through automated tests and production observations.
• Contribute to scalable, reliable, and observable platform architecture.
