Job summary

Danish trading and risk solutions company Danske Commodities A/S is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer in Aarhus, Denmark. You will design, build, and maintain scalable, high‑performing systems used by Risk and Finance teams, collaborating in a cross‑functional product team with short delivery cycles.

You will work closely with stakeholders, translate business needs into robust software, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• hold a relevant educational background in computer science, software development or similar
• have several years of experience in a similar role involving software development, system design, and agile methodologies
• are proficient within C# (we use .NET, C#, MS SQL, Pulsar messaging, running on a Kubernetes platform)
• are experienced in API design and best practices in software architecture
• can drive architectural change to ensure robust and scalable systems
• are interested in AI tooling and AI-assisted development as part of daily workflow
