Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Software Engineer (Mid/Senior/Lead) for the OTC Product Area within Fintech Solutions. The role focuses on building and modernizing OTC asset management features in our platform, with a hybrid schedule across Copenhagen offices and remote work options.

You will design, implement and extend APIs in C# while maintaining legacy code and integrating OCaml and APL where relevant. Collaboration with product owners and teams is essential to deliver robust, scalable fintech

Qualifications

• A relevant degree (Computer Science or STEM) with hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in English.
• Experience or interest in functional programming is a plus (OCaml, APL, F#, Scala or Haskell).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and extend APIs for OTC asset management product.
• Work primarily in C#; OCaml and APL experience is a plus.
• Refactor legacy code without disrupting business.
• Improve quality, performance and user experience across the system.
• Collaborate with product owner to refine requirements and shape features.
• Work in a team of engineers with code reviews and shared ownership.
• Follow clean code practices, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Build, extend and consume REST APIs and communicate with stakeholders.
