Novicell in Aarhus is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for Shopify storefronts. You will lead frontend workstreams, build in Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, and collaborate with backend teams and designers to deliver robust, scalable frontend solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on development and senior ownership, with a focus on quality, architecture, and maintainability across projects within the Shopify Team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience for ecommerce platforms.
• Solid Shopify frontend development experience.
• Proficient with Liquid, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS/SCSS.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining Shopify storefront solutions.
• Developing and extending Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Taking ownership of frontend workstreams across client projects.
• Translating design and business needs into performant frontend solutions.
• Collaborating with backend developers on integrated functionality.
• Leading frontend decisions and contributing to best practices.
