Job summary

IMPACT Commerce Portugal is seeking a Frontend Shopify Developer to build high‑performing, scalable e‑commerce solutions. You will create modern storefronts, custom Shopify themes, and bespoke user experiences as part of a distributed engineering team.

You will work with Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/Sass, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs, contributing to design‑to‑code precision and optimizing performance, accessibility, and SEO across clients in Europe.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Minimum 2 years building Shopify/Shopify Plus themes and storefronts.
• Deep mastery of Shopify Liquid, Online Store 2.0, and theme architecture.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and API integration (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with modern build tools, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and storefronts.
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive frontend code with performance in mind.
• Collaborate with delivery, design, and engineering teams to clarify requirements.
• Integrate third‑party apps and APIs to extend store functionality.
• Promote frontend best practices and reusable component libraries.
• Ensure accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals targets are met.
