Job summary

Novicell Denmark is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for our Shopify team in Aarhus. You will design, build, and own frontend solutions for ecommerce storefronts, collaborating with backend developers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality Shopify themes and features.

You will work with Liquid, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS, taking technical ownership and guiding frontend workstreams across projects. English communication is essential, Danish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on frontend development for ecommerce platforms.
• Solid experience with Shopify frontend development.
• Proficient in Liquid, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
• Able to take technical ownership and lead frontend workstreams on projects.
• Fluent English; Danish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and advise on frontend solutions for Shopify-based ecommerce platforms.
• Own frontend workstreams across multiple client projects and ensure quality.
• Translate requirements into performant, maintainable frontend code.
• Collaborate with backend, design, and project teams; participate in scoping and estimation.
• Review code and contribute to frontend standards and reusable patterns.
