Job summary

Gubra A/S is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen Security Operations and mature technical security across infrastructure, cloud, and applications. You will work under the Lead Security Operations, taking ownership of technical problems and driving practical safeguards.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Software, Data, and Digital Workplace teams to build security controls, threat models, and automated responses in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Security Engineering or Security Operations.
• Experience operating security capabilities across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Solid understanding of identity, endpoint, networking and infrastructure security.
• Experience with vulnerability management, incident response, monitoring and security controls.
• Ability to collaborate across infrastructure, software and data teams.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate, mature, and continuously improve the Security Operations practice.
• Investigate and respond to security alerts, incidents and suspicious activity.
• Develop and improve security monitoring, detection rules and playbooks.
• Support vulnerability management, hardening and remediation activities.
• Build and operate security controls across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS and hybrid infra.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure development practices.
• Participate in threat modelling and risk assessments for new solutions.
• Identify gaps and translate into practical security improvements.
• Evaluate tooling and coordinate with external IT security partners when needed.
