Factbird is seeking a Senior Security & Compliance Engineer to own security for systems, data, and customer trust. You will work hands‑on in our AWS environment, shaping security architecture and driving risk‑based improvements across the Cloud team.

You’ll mentor engineers and partner with product, sales, and success to ensure compliance and robust security controls while balancing pragmatic business needs for a growing company in Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in security engineering with hands-on AWS and codebase work.
• Strong understanding of SOC 2, GDPR and operationalising controls.
• Proven ability to drive security initiatives with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess security posture, identify gaps, and propose improvements with impact.
• Own security audits end‑to‑end and translate findings into a realistic plan.
• Design and implement security controls across cloud, applications and DevOps.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and security‑minded design.
