Job summary

ZeroNorth in Copenhagen seeks a Senior Security Engineer to own security and compliance across our distributed SaaS platform, including AWS, EKS and IoT environments. You will implement security controls, drive automation, and partner with product teams to minimize risk while maintaining fast delivery.

You will work closely with Legal, Internal IT and external auditors, applying modern GRC practice and AI-assisted security to safeguard the maritime AI platform we are building.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of software development, infrastructure, and security practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and IoT security.
• Strong understanding of SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR/NIS2 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage security controls across AWS, EKS and IoT infra.
• Integrate automated security scans into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead incident response, vulnerability management and audit preparation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Internal IT and external auditors.
