Job summary

ZeroNorth in Copenhagen seeks a Senior Security Engineer to own hands-on security across AWS, EKS, and IoT platforms. Design and implement controls, integrate scans into GitHub Actions, and collaborate with engineering, legal, and auditors to stay compliant.

You will protect the AI initiatives, automate evidence collection in our GRC platform (Vanta), and translate GDPR/NIS2 and SOC 2 requirements into practical engineering practices in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Broad hands-on knowledge of software development, infrastructure, IoT, CI/CD, Kubernetes/EKS, and IaC/Terraform.
• Strong AWS cloud experience; primary hosting platform and security focus.
• Experience or strong interest in AI security, both securing AI systems and using AI to strengthen security operations.
• Familiarity with GRC and hands-on security implementation; regulatory standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Secure the platform hands-on: design, implement, and manage security controls on AWS, EKS, and IoT infra; integrate automated scans into CI/CD pipelines; coordinate with dev teams on findings.
• Secure AI platform: develop framework to ensure trustworthy and compliant AI platform from design to production.
• Support security strategy and policy: interpret GDPR, NIS2, and related regulations to guide controls.
• Treat compliance as an engineering problem: automate evidence collection via GRC tool (Vanta); map controls to platform behavior; liaise with external auditors.
