Job summary

ZeroNorth is a Copenhagen-based leader in digital decarbonisation for shipping. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to shape the backend on our agentic platform, building fuel functionality and migrating from legacy systems while ensuring reliability and performance of production services.

You will contribute across tracks, collaborating with platform teams to define shared patterns, tooling, and scalable services, with strong emphasis on code quality and distributed system design.

Qualifications

• Deep .NET proficiency with C# and RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping web apps.
• Experience modernising legacy systems incrementally.

Responsibilities

• Build, design, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in C#/.NET; some Angular work.
• Modernise by migrating away from legacy components to well-built services.
• Harden backend reliability, performance, and observability in production.
• Deliver on the agentic platform in collaboration with platform teams.
• Lift the team through code reviews and better patterns.
