Dbsearch and a leading contractor seek a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Denmark office in Ølgod. You will manage all contractual and financial aspects of projects, from cost estimation to final valuations, ensuring budgets are met and risks are controlled.

Role requires strong cost control, procurement insight, and excellent communication with clients and subcontractors. Danish office-based role with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or related field.
• RICS or CIOB accreditation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficient in cost control software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Background in COINS software.

Responsabilités

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Perform cost analysis for project work.
• Assist in tendering processes, including preparation of tender documents and evaluation of bids.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports.
• Prepare interim and final valuations, payment applications, and variations.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with legal and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage change control processes and assess the financial impact of changes.
• Advise on procurement strategies and dispute resolution.
• Compiling CVR requirements at the end of each month.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Directors and Site Managers to support successful project execution and cost control.
• Executes the preparation of subcontractor contracts and ensures timely completion of collateral warranties in line with project and legal requirements.
• Responsible for preparing and submitting valuations and issuing payment certificates to ensure accurate and timely payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
