Job summary

John Sisk and Son in Denmark, based in Fredericia, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility on a major data centre project. The post covers procurement, contract management and claims handling on a project in the five to fifteen million euro range.

You will lead commercial strategy, manage NEC/JCT issues, and mentor junior staff, while coordinating with the contracts manager, project manager and construction team on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying or related discipline.
• Training in commercial management, dispute resolution and contract law.
• Experience of design and build and high value multidisciplinary contracts.
• RICS or CIOB chartership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial management of the project, working with the contracts manager, project manager and construction team.
• Own commercial and contractual issues and develop junior staff.
• Lead procurement from tender through subcontract selection to final account and forecasts.
• Maintain accurate records for variations, cash flow and valuations and manage claims.
