Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd is seeking Quantity Surveyors for a Denmark-based substation project. You will own the commercial and contractual requirements through the project lifecycle, interface with the Client Commercial/Contract Team, and handle procurement with subcontractors.

The role involves cost and risk analysis, cost reporting, and managing change orders. Candidates should hold a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying with 5+ years of project QS experience,

Qualifications

• Must have a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project QS.
• Experience in civils and in electrical/mechanical projects.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Management and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.
• Interface with Client Commercial/Contract Team.
• Project procurement including sub-contractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis.
• Review incoming correspondence to identify contractually critical items.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.
• Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with client.
