Grundfos is seeking a Senior Purchasing Project Manager in Bjerringbro, Denmark. You will lead end-to-end purchasing activities across major development projects, crafting and representing Group Purchasing strategies and deliverables to ensure on-time, budget-aware product launches.

You will influence supplier selection, drive cost optimization, and enhance supply chain resilience. Strong project management and negotiation skills are essential in a global manufacturing context.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience managing purchasing activities in cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• End-to-end supply chain understanding - from supplier to assembly.
• Engineering/operations knowledge to navigate as Project Manager in development of new products & solutions.

What you will be doing

As our new Senior Purchasing Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end purchasing activities in major development projects, developing and representing Group Purchasing strategies and deliverables.

What makes you a great fit

You are a strategic, results-oriented purchasing professional with strong project management and negotiation skills, capable of navigating complex stakeholder landscapes in a global manufacturing environment. We also imagine that you have:

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proven experience managing purchasing activities in cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
• Supply chain understanding - End-to-end view from supplier to assembly
• Technical understanding - Sufficient engineering and/or operations knowledge to navigate as Project Manager in development of new products & solutions

It is a plus if you also have:

• Experience working across Operations and Product development is considered an advantage
• PMP certification or similar project management credentials
• International sourcing experience across regions and commodity categories
