Req ID: 50148 Job Location: Silkeborg, DK Employment Type: Full Time

The Impact You Will Make

As a Mechanical Engineer you will help shape the next generation of efficient and sustainable heating solutions. Your work will directly support the performance, reliability, and scalability of heating systems used in buildings and district energy networks. You will turn complex engineering challenges into practical, production‑ready solutions. From early concept to validation, your expertise will contribute to technologies that reduce energy consumption and support the transition toward lower‑carbon heating. By working closely with manufacturing, quality, R&D, and project teams, you will ensure that ideas become robust products that perform in real‑world conditions and deliver value to customers and society.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design, develop, and optimize heating and thermal systems to deliver reliable and energy‑efficient performance.
  • Analyze and support district heating networks, including thermal and hydraulic calculations, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform engineering analyses, covering thermal behavior, hydraulics, and cost considerations, to support sound technical decisions.
  • Contribute to new product development, following solutions from concept through validation, testing, and manufacturing.
  • Create CAD models (Creo, Solidworks) and technical documentation, ensuring designs meet manufacturing, quality, and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
  • A background in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in heating or thermal systems.
  • Solid understanding of heating technologies, with the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues.
  • Experience with engineering calculations (thermal, hydraulic, and cost‑related).
  • Practical knowledge of CAD tools and creation of manufacturing‑ready documentation.
  • A proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with the confidence to make analysis‑based technical decisions.
  • Fluency in English and Danish is required.
