Job summary

Eurowind Energy is seeking an experienced Product Owner based at our Hobro head office in Denmark. You will own the backlog across three software teams—Trading & Monitoring, Automation & Masterdata, and Explore & Interact—and report to the Senior Manager, Software Development.

Your day-to-day work will be in the Automation & Masterdata team, collaborating with two PO colleagues and a team of engineers. You will help shape AI usage in product work while maintaining a high standard of backlog

Qualifications

• This role requires several years of experience as a Product Owner in a software environment.
• Experience with backlog management, refinement and acceptance criteria that survive development.
• Comfortable working with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools; Confluence is an advantage.
• Interest in AI as part of product work is a plus, with hands-on experience welcome.
• Ability to maintain a shared standard across multiple teams through collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the backlog as the single source of truth—capture, structure and maintain epics, stories and bugs.
• Refine feature requests into clear, testable items with acceptance criteria.
• Set and maintain a shared standard for how work is written across three teams.
• Make priority and scope calls with peers, leads and the solution architect.
• Partner with the IT Portfolio Manager on larger projects and direct business requests.
• Collaborate with Operations, Trading, Commercial, BI and GIS stakeholders.
• Support release readiness by approving items and informing stakeholders.
• Keep Jira and Confluence trustworthy with visible progress and blockers.
• Help shape how AI is used in backlog work and user story intake.
