Job summary

Alfa Laval BU Marine Solutions, Vessel Infrastructure Efficiency Service (VIES) is seeking a Product Expert for Fresh Water Generators to provide expert technical support to sales, service centers, and customers.

You will guide troubleshooting, contribute to training programs, and participate in product development projects focusing on serviceability and reliability of AQUA, JWP, MEP, ORCA systems.

Excellent English communication skills and a strong engineering background are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical, electrical, marine engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Answer tickets and technical product questions from service development managers and customers.
• Consult to service development managers in EPD and NPD projects, and join EPD/NPD projects.
• Document solutions for automation and mechanical issues.
• Prepare and publish service bulletins and maintain the bulletin archive.
• Maintain all product documents (catalogues, manuals) and ensure up-to-date status.
• Support training team with product competence; deliver training for employees, business partners and end-users.
• Participate in development of repair methods and technical instructions.
• Assist in solving customer claims.
