Job summary

Alfa Laval in Soborg, part of the Marine Solutions BU, seeks a Product Expert for Fresh Water Generators, service. You will provide technical product support to sales and service teams and contribute to EPD/NPD and training programs.

We value a university degree in mechanical/electrical/marine engineering, 5–6 years of related experience, strong knowledge of desalination systems, and excellent English communication. Location: Soborg with multiple locations in Aalborg and Nijmegen.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical, electrical, or marine engineering.
• Expert level knowledge of desalination systems or heat transfer products.
• 5–6 years’ experience in a related technical field.
• Good knowledge of vessel engine room and marine water production systems.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Answer tickets and technical product questions from service development managers.
• Consult with service development managers on EPD and NPD projects.
• Document solutions for automation and mechanical issues.
• Prepare and publish service bulletins and maintain archives.
• Deliver training and hands-on sessions for engineers and partners.
• Support solving customer claims.
