Ramboll invites applications for a Project Director / Senior Chief Engineer – Power Transmission and Grid Integration to lead end-to-end electrical system design for large-scale transmission projects. You will join Ramboll's international Power Systems organisation and work across electrification, offshore wind, data centres and large energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

Strong OEM experience with hands-on modelling.
Experience with electrical grid-forming equipment and FACTS such as e-STATCOMs and frequency converters.
Experience with PowerFactory and PSCAD in modelling.
Hands-on grid compliance and grid integration for utility-scale installations (BESS, renewables, data centres).
Excellent managerial and client-management skills, with five+ years leading large electrical packages.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical system design from feasibility and FEED through design, execution and construction.
Develop cutting-edge designs to connect utility-scale assets to the grid.
Lead dialogue with TSO/DSO and address requirements through design.
Oversee engineering activities for large power installations, including tender facilitation and quality assurance.
Collaborate across disciplines to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Manage dialogue with the client’s senior technical leadership.
Develop scalable technical concepts across projects and clients.
Engage in industry groups to stay aligned with standards and market trends.
