Impact Fund Denmark seeks a hands-on Power Platform and web developer to own the internal Investment Management platform. You’ll work across Power Apps, Dataverse, and custom web components to support the full investment lifecycle from lead to exit.
Join a collaborative Technology & Operations team and influence the platform’s evolution while collaborating with external developers and business SMEs. Copenhagen-based, with a focus on impactful finance and development work.
Do you want to be hands-on in building the platform that powers how we manage every investment, from lead through to exit? And are you ready to take technical ownership of a growing, business-critical application that combines low-code Power Apps with modern JavaScript/Node.js web development, used every day by our Investment, Risk, Valuation and Finance colleagues?
At Impact Fund Denmark, you join a mission-driven organisation with a clear purpose - to finance projects that bring sustainable development to life, from forestry in Paraguay to solar energy in Brazil and diagnostics in Bangladesh.
Impact Fund Denmark is Denmark's development finance institution, investing in sustainable solutions that create measurable impact in developing countries. While headquartered in Copenhagen, our work extends across more than 45 countries, supported by six regional offices, uniting 24 nationalities under one purpose.
You will be part of the Technology & Operations team, which is currently expanding, including specialists in processes, architecture, data, and IT Security. Here, you will join experienced and collaborative professionals who are eager to share knowledge and support each other across disciplines.
A place where great ideas can come from anyone
Joining us means becoming part of a warm, ambitious, and genuinely collaborative Technology & Operations Team. We are a group that thrives on shared purpose, celebrates each other's wins, and is not afraid to roll up our sleeves when things get complex. Our work spans a broad range of initiatives that shape the organisation's digital backbone - but what truly defines us is how we do it: together.
On this application specifically, you will work day-to-day alongside our Business Application Manager, who coordinates prioritisation and the release process, and a small pool of external developers who provide specialist and overflow capacity. Together, you form the core development team - working closely with Product Owners, Super Users, and functional subject‑matter experts from Investment, Risk, Valuation and Finance to keep the backlog moving and the platform improving.
You will be surrounded by talented colleagues who bring curiosity, professionalism, and a healthy sense of humour to the table. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are building a culture where learning is continuous and where you will have the space to influence how we work.
Our internal Investment Management application is built on Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps, and the Dynamics 365 platform (using only capabilities that do not require a Dynamics 365 Sales licence). It supports the full investment lifecycle - from lead and screening, through portfolio management and monitoring, to exit. Alongside this low-code foundation, an increasing share of the application is built as custom web applications - using JavaScript and Node.js - to deliver functionality that goes beyond what Power Apps supports out of the box.
We are looking for a Power Apps & Web Application Developer to take day-to-day technical ownership of the application's codebase and configuration and be the technical lead for the application and its growth over the coming years. You will work closely with our Business Application Manager and external developer resources as the core development team, turning a continuously prioritised backlog into reliable, well-built functionality for the business - spanning both the Power Platform and our custom web application components. You will take the lead on deciding when a requirement is best solved with low-code Power Apps versus custom web development, in dialogue with the Business Application Manager.
You will, for example:
With your background in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and modern web development, you become invested in turning business requirements from investment, risk, valuation, or finance stakeholders into robust, well-structured solutions.
