Job summary

BEC is seeking a senior business analyst for the Post-Trade Delivery program to harmonize post-trade requirements and deliver solutions for member banks. You will work directly with customers to define needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams across BEC to drive compliant, well-documented outcomes.

Role emphasizes translating regulations into development tasks, writing clear specifications and guides, and leading discussions with stakeholders in English.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to break down complex problems and identify actionable solutions.
• Business acumen and an understanding of customer needs, banking operations, and regulatory requirements.
• An understanding of functional and non-functional requirements and how they translate into system behaviour.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong coordination skills, including following up on planned activities and ensuring the right stakeholders have the right information at the right time.
• Experience writing business procedures, user guides, requirement specifications, and decision documentation.
• A curious, proactive, customer-oriented, and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and navigate change and ambiguity.
• Familiarity with agile methods and the ability to break down features into actionable user stories.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the product owner and customers to understand their needs and deliver service-minded solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Analyse business challenges, define actionable solutions, and translate regulations into development tasks and user stories.
• Document procedures and decisions, prepare requirement specifications, and create user guides for banks and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA specialists to clarify requirements, align priorities, and ensure solutions are thoroughly tested.
• Lead and participate in meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Facilitate professional communication and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
