Job summary

BEC Financial Technologies is seeking a role within its Post Trade Program to shape harmonization initiatives for member banks. You will engage with customers, translate regulatory requirements into actionable development tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across BEC and its stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex problems and identify actionable solutions.
• Business acumen and understanding of customer needs, banking operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of functional and non-functional requirements and how they translate into system behaviour.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to follow up with stakeholders.
• Experience writing business procedures, user guides, requirement specs, and decision documentation.
• Curious, proactive, customer-oriented, and adaptable; excellent in cross-functional teams and navigating change and ambiguity.
• Familiarity with agile methods and breaking down features into actionable user stories.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the product owner and customers to understand needs and deliver service-minded solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Analyse business challenges, define actionable solutions, and translate regulations into development tasks and user stories.
• Document procedures and decisions, prepare requirement specifications, and create user guides for banks and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA to clarify requirements, align priorities, and ensure testing.
• Lead and participate in meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Facilitate professional communication and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
