Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in supply chain planning and related areas.
• Experience driving process improvements, standardization, or transformation projects in a complex global supply chain.
• Able to translate data and business needs into actionable insights and scalable solutions.
• Strong stakeholder-facing skills with ability to influence across functions and regions.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Operations, Eng., Business).
• MedTech or regulated industry experience is a plus.

Job description

As a Senior Planning Specialist, Global Planning, you will play a key role in strengthening and continuously improving Ambu's global planning capabilities. You will combine data, process expertise and stakeholder collaboration to turn planning information into actionable insights that support better decisions on cost, efficiency, service, and inventory performance.

You will help shape and improve our global planning processes by identifying opportunities, challenging existing ways of working, and translating best practices into scalable solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across Global Supply Chain, you will connect global standards and strategy with effective local execution.

This is more than an analytical role. You will act as a key driver of planning excellence, helping build best-in-class planning processes and enabling smarter, more efficient and resilient ways of working across our global operations.

More Specifically, Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Process Excellence: Assess and continuously improve global planning processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, standardization and scalability across regions.
• Change & Implementation: Lead and support implementation of new processes, tools and best practices, ensuring effective adoption and sustainable change across the orgnization.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with stakeholders across Global Supply Chain to align local execution with global planning standards, processes, and strategic priorities.
• Data & Insights: Transform complex planning data into clear, actionable insights that support global decision-making and improve cost, service and operational performance.
• Performance Management: Develop, maintain and optimize KPIs, reporting and dashboards to monitor planning performance, identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.

• Have 5-7+ years of experience within supply chain planning, planning excellence, process improvement, supply chain analytics, S&OP/IBP, or related areas.
• Have solid experience driving process improvements, standardization initiatives, or transformation projects in a complex international supply chain environment.
• Are comfortable translating data and business needs into actionable insights, recommendations, and scalable solutions.
• Thrive in a stakeholder-facing role and have a proven ability to influence and drive change across functions, regions, and organizational levels.
• Combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach and enjoy turning ideas and opportunities into tangible improvements.
• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience from MedTech or another complex, regulated industry is an advantage.
