Job summary

Phanofi is a DTU spin-out seeking a Senior Photonics Packaging Engineer to own the packaging of PICs end-to-end. The role spans optical and electrical interfaces and the interposer, with collaboration across engineering and the CTO to scale toward pilot production.

You will advance packaging methods, characterize results, and feed constraints back into design reviews to improve yield and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in photonics packaging with field experience.
• Master's or PhD in a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience turning lab prototypes into pilot production.

Responsibilities

• Own PIC packaging end-to-end: optical, electrical interfaces and interposers.
• Collaborate with R&D and CTO to scale to production and optimize yield.
