Job summary

Banking Circle is seeking a Senior Development Engineer for the Core Banking Services team in Copenhagen or Warsaw. You will design and build our new core platform using .NET/C#, in an event-driven setup with Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, and AKS.

A hybrid work model is offered to balance office collaboration with flexible time. You will own design decisions, push for high throughput and uptime, and mentor teammates while maintaining high code quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Senior backend developer with hands-on experience in high-volume systems.
• Proficient in .NET and C#, delivering reliable, scalable services.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, containers, and modern infra as code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance core banking services and APIs.
• Apply engineering best practices: CI/CD, tests, and IaC.
• Own complex technical and business problems from analysis to delivery.
• Contribute to event-driven architecture and platform direction.
