Danfoss Sensing Solutions in Denmark seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our R&D mechanical engineering capabilities, focusing on gas sensing and data centre applications. You will translate ideas into robust, manufacturable products, drive mechanical architecture, packaging, and system integration, and work closely with sensing, electronics, firmware, and manufacturing engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related.
• Experience developing industrial products from concept through production.
• Hands-on experience with sensors or highly integrated mechanical systems.
• Proficient in 3D CAD tools, especially Inventor.
• Knowledge of injection-molded components and DFM/DFA.

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical architecture and design of next-generation sensing platforms.
• Develop encapsulation, sealing, and environmental protection for sensors.
• Drive mechanical work packages in cross-functional projects.
• Develop concepts for gas sensing and data centre applications, including thermal management.
• Support prototyping, design reviews, risk assessments, testing, and supplier collaboration.
