Job summary

Danfoss Nordborg is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to drive the electrical design of industrial pressure sensors from concept through validation. You will balance performance, cost, and reliability while delivering robust sensing solutions for demanding environments.

Working in our R&D Pressure Technology team, you will collaborate across engineering, quality, procurement and external partners, leading design verification and EMC testing, with a strong emphasis on practical product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in industrial product development with electronic or sensor technologies.
• Strong knowledge of electronic design, including schematic capture, testing and validation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in an international environment.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical development of industrial pressure sensors from concept to design validation.
• Design electronic hardware including schematics, prototyping and testing.
• Plan and execute design verification activities, including electrical and EMC testing, analysis of results and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, quality, process technology, product management, procurement, and external manufacturing partners.
• Translate customer applications, technical requirements, and regulatory needs into practical product solutions and continuous product improvements.
