Job summary

Danfoss Sensing Solutions in Denmark is seeking a Development Engineer to help bring new sensing technologies from concept to prototype. You will work with cross-functional teams across mechanical, electronics, and software.

You should have a BSc or MSc in Mechatronics or a related discipline, solid mechanical fundamentals, and hands-on CAD experience. This role offers hands-on development across product platforms and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience using CAD tools for design and documentation.
• Hands-on engineering experience from work, projects, or internships.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support development of new sensing products from concept to prototype development and testing.
• Create CAD models, drawings, fixtures, and development tooling for new designs.
• Build, assemble, and evaluate prototypes; collect and analyze test data for decisions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, software, and systems engineers to mature concepts.
• Contribute to design verification, investigations, and documentation.
