Cadeler is seeking a Senior Lifting Engineer to take responsibility for lifting operations across our vessel fleet, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency in offshore wind projects. You will plan, coordinate and oversee lifting activities, working with project teams, Engineering and external partners to deliver excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in lifting equipment design, development and project management.
• Strong knowledge of lifting and rigging operations and applicable standards (DNV-ST-N001, DNV-ST-0378, LOLER, EN 13001).

Responsabilidades

• Take the role as Appointed Person with responsibility for project lifting plans.
• Develop lifting concepts, review lifting and rigging drawings, approve subcontractor lift plans and maintain project lifting documentation.
• Review method statements against lift plans and contribute to risk assessments and HAZIDs.
• Provide technical lifting guidance to clients, MWS, internal teams and subcontractors.
• Brief offshore crews and deck supervisors on lifting plans and participate in first loadouts and installations.
• Conduct site audits and work with HSEQ and Quality to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Monitor lifting-related project progress and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Build relationships with lifting specialists and subcontractors and drive operational improvements.
