Job summary

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced HSE lifting specialist to join the Lifteam overseeing offshore lifting from planning to execution. You will provide HSE support, develop procedures, and drive continuous improvement within the lifting community.

You will lead in incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and promote a strong safety culture across all lifting activities. This role emphasizes governance and safety leadership within a global wind offshore

Qualifications

• NEBOSH International diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety.
• Certification in lifting operations (CPCS A61, LEEA AP, NCCCO Lift Director, or equivalent).
• Ability to develop and implement lifting procedures and guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of lifting legislation, standards and best practices.
• Experience with lifting equipment maintenance, inspection and thorough examination.
• Experience investigating incidents in mechanical handling and root cause analysis.
• Proven leadership in governance and safety-critical environments.
• Excellent communication to influence across all levels.
• Uphold high ethical standards and promote integrity.

Responsibilities

• Author and implement internal lifting operations standards.
• Provide HSE support to offshore lifting team.
• Contribute to training development and competency frameworks.
• Maintain oversight of lifting-related incident reports.
• Drive lessons learned and implement corrective actions.
• Support investigations into lifting-related incidents and root causes.
• Provide HSE expertise to lifting equipment design.
• Support Sales and Procurement with HSE lifting queries.
• Promote a strong lifting safety culture.
• Active membership in international safety committees.
