Job summary

Marker Diagnostics in Copenhagen is building a new molecular biology lab and seeks a Sr Laboratory Manager to establish the operational backbone and ensure smooth daily running. You will own lab operations, vendor relationships, sample logistics, and develop SOPs and a Quality Management System, with hands-on lab work as needed.

• Proven day-to-day lab operations experience.
• Able to set standards and guide ways of working.
• Strong protocol and documentation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own daily lab operations: purchasing, receiving, inventory, and readiness.
• Manage relationships with vendors, building management, and providers.
• Coordinate sample collection logistics with clinical sites.
• Create and maintain SOPs and documentation; support QMS development.
• Step into practical lab work when needed, handling human samples.
• Contribute to biomarker discovery and diagnostic projects.
• Document and report results to colleagues and external partners.
