Job summary

Marker Diagnostics in Copenhagen seeks a (Sr) Laboratory Manager to build the operational backbone of our new lab, overseeing day-to-day operations, SOPs, QMS development, and vendor relationships, with hands-on work when needed.

You will help establish standards, routines, and working practices with a small Denmark team, balancing leadership with practical lab duties and involvement in biomarker discovery and diagnostic development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience running a day-to-day lab with inventory, vendors, and scheduling.
• Strong communication and ability to establish standards and ensure consistent ways of working.
• Proven ability to create and maintain SOPs and documentation; quality thinking comes naturally.
• Hands-on molecular biology work with careful attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own daily lab operations: purchasing, receiving, inventory management, and ensuring the lab is ready to run.
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, building management and other providers.
• Liaise with clinical sites to ensure smooth sample collection logistics for studies.
• Create and maintain protocols, SOPs, and documentation; support building QMS.
