Job summary

Pandora in Copenhagen, Denmark, seeks a Senior Designer for the Modern Classics & Diamonds team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will collaborate with the Design Director to develop collections from concept through prototype, balancing innovation with Pandora's DNA and global brand standards.

The role requires a strong portfolio, hands-on CAD experience, and the ability to lead design projects while mentoring junior designers. A portfolio must accompany the application.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing jewellery within jewellery, luxury, fashion or accessories brands.
• Strong portfolio showing concept development, mood boards, sketches and finished products.
• Proven ability to take design projects from concept through CAD and prototype development.
• Strong knowledge of jewellery design, craftsmanship, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Exceptional hand-sketching and visual communication skills.
• Experience with CAD development and cross-functional product development teams.
• Ability to translate creative direction into distinctive, commercially relevant products.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new collections within the Modern Classics & Diamonds category.
• Translate briefs into innovative product concepts, designs and sketches.
• Lead design projects from research through CAD and prototype stages.
• Propose original, future-thinking ideas aligned with category strategy.
• Develop mood boards, presentations and technical drawings to support development.
• Review CADs and provide clear feedback within timelines.
• Coordinate with DoD for prototype execution and testing.
• Review early prototypes and contribute to evaluations.
• Collaborate with Creative Sourcing on materials and techniques.
• Partner with Creative Merchandising for category structures.
• Maintain design documentation and project records.
• Mentor Junior Designers with guidance on creative and technical aspects.
• Ensure on-time delivery of projects.
