Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S is seeking an IT Security Engineer to integrate security technologies, craft SIEM content, develop SOAR playbooks and align response plans. The role requires expertise with Defender, Sentinel, Splunk and ServiceNow, and collaboration with Cyber Defence Centre architects and analysts.

You will lead security projects, improve stakeholder satisfaction, and build cross-functional relationships while maintaining alignment with Incident Response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• +5 years of relevant experience required.
• Ability to lead a project in development and implementation of processes and technology.
• Vendor neutral technical certifications (CISSP, CISM, GCIH) desirable; vendor certifications also desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work within Detection Analytics & Orchestration to collaborate with architects and analysts.
• Integrate security technologies, craft SIEM content, develop SOAR playbooks and align response plans.
• Operationalize security solutions and reduce repetitive work in Security Operations Center.
• Maintain alignment with Incident Response function.
• Build relationships with non-technical stakeholders and optimize stakeholder satisfaction.
• Configure out-of-the-box features to integrate products and automate tasks.
