Senior Hydraulic Engineer, Team Lead

Position located in Vejstrup. The role blends technical innovation, practical execution, and leadership in hydraulic systems for industrial markets such as energy, cranes, oil & gas, and mining.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary hydraulic architecture expert, overseeing design calculations and component selection.
• Lead development and testing of new products for existing or new application areas.
• Provide professional leadership to specialists in the department.
• Drive development projects that set new standards for brake solutions.
• Provide commercial support to the sales team with technical layouts, schematics, and business cases during the proposal phase.
• Plan and conduct system tests and inspections to ensure maximum reliability and safety.
• Structure and standardize technical processes and tools to enhance team efficiency.
• Act as the technical liaison with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

+10 years of industrial hydraulic experience in wind, oil & gas, offshore, or similar sectors. Deep understanding of extreme operating environments.

Strong engineering judgment and experience navigating complex standards. Familiarity with stage‑gate project models and IT tools such as MS Office and ERP systems (AXAPTA).

Proactive, structured work style with a focus on knowledge sharing and sparring. Commitment to safety and quality. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Additional Information

Approximately 30 business travel days per year. Reports to Technical Manager, Hydraulics & SOBO. Part of a Hydraulics & Control department with 8–10 specialists.
