Job summary

Haarslev, a global leader in rendering and processing technology, seeks a Project Engineer to join our international project organization. You will work closely with our Project Managers on international customer projects, taking ownership of the technical layout and developing the complete 3D layout of customer projects.

Based at our Haarslev office on Funen, Denmark, you will report to the Senior Project Manager, Bjarke Pedersen.

Qualifications

• 3D layouts of project equipment and BOM maintenance.
• Experience with 3D CAD systems (Inventor/AutoCAD) preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across countries.
• Structured, detail-oriented with ability to adapt.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain 3D layouts for project equipment.
• Perform 3D scanning at customer sites.
• Prepare equipment specifications with Project Manager.
• Coordinate with design/engineering and verify equipment.
• Maintain BOMs for released items.
• Manage customer and supplier contact.
• Create and update P&IDs.
• Release engineering requests.
• Follow up on engineered items for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with manufacturing.
• Prepare installation documentation.

We are now looking for a Project Engineer to join our international project organization.

What you will be doing

As Project Engineer, you will work closely with our Project Managers on international customer projects. You will take ownership of the technical layout of our projects. A key part of your role will be developing and maintaining the complete 3D layout of customer projects, giving you a technical overview and involvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Producing and maintaining 3D layouts providing a complete overview of project equipment
• Performing 3D scanning at customer sites for incorporation into project layouts
• Preparing equipment specifications in cooperation with the Project Manager for procurement
• Following up with design and engineering departments, including verification of various equipment
• Maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) for items released from projects
• Managing customer and supplier contact in agreement with the Project Manager
• Creating and continuously updating P&IDs
• Releasing engineering requests
• Following up on and approving engineered items for manufacturing
• Following up with manufacturing
• Preparing installation documentation

You will join our Project Business Unit of almost 100 employees, working closely with colleagues across different functions and countries. You will be based at our Haarslev office on Funen, Denmark, and report to our Senior Project Manager, Bjarke Pedersen. The role includes up to 20 days of international travel per year.

We are looking for someone who enjoys combining hands-on technical engineering with project collaboration. You have a structured approach to your work, pay attention to detail, and are able to adapt when priorities or project requirements change. We imagine that you have:

• A relevant technical or engineering background
• Experience with 3D CAD systems, preferably Inventor and AutoCAD or similar
• An understanding of mechanical design, equipment layouts, and technical documentation
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• A structured and detail-oriented approach to your work
• The ability to navigate and adapt in an international and ever-changing environment.
