Job summary
Semco Maritime is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, High Voltage (GIS) to advance offshore substation products and tender-driven offerings. You will shape scalable GIS solutions for 66 kV and 230/275 kV applications, collaborate with suppliers, and contribute to a modular, repeatable product portfolio.

Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience with medium- and high-voltage GIS systems (66 kV, 230/275 kV).
- Experience with offshore GIS applications and SF6-free switchgear is advantageous.
- Ability to balance technical and commercial requirements with customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Support tender activities by defining and evaluating 66 kV and 230/275 kV GIS solutions.
- Translate customer needs, market trends, and supplier capabilities into competitive product offerings.
- Optimize solutions with respect to performance, reliability, footprint, cost, and lead time.
- Develop and maintain the GIS product roadmap in line with future market requirements and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with Procurement and strategic suppliers to strengthen competitiveness and drive cost optimization.
- Contribute to the standardization and modularization of our GIS product portfolio.
- Ensure a seamless handover of as-sold solutions to our EPC engineering teams.
