Job summary

Pleo is seeking a Growth Analytics Engineer to own the commercial data layer and empower RevOps, CX, Sales and Success with data-driven decisions. You will work with SQL, dbt, BigQuery and Looker to build models, dashboards and experiments that drive activation, onboarding and retention.

You’ll partner across teams, translate business needs into robust analytics, contribute to semantic definitions, and shape AI-ready self-serve analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience across insights generation and analytics engineering in a SaaS environment.
• Strong Python, SQL and dbt skills with clean, tested models.
• BigQuery transformations and performance considerations.
• BI tool proficiency with Looker/LookML.
• Commercial mindset and understanding GTM metrics and revenue impact.
• Ability to build dashboards used by GTM stakeholders.
• Experience designing analytics for AI and self-serve access.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD for analytics code.
• Strong ownership and delivery discipline; managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the analytics layer for acquisition, onboarding, growth, and retention.
• Deliver dashboards and analyses that drive operational decisions with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze customer behaviour and performance to surface trends and risks.
• Support onboarding and self-serve product teams with data on activation and engagement.
• Design experiments to test growth hypotheses and optimise metrics.
• Shape semantic layer definitions with Data Services & Governance.
• Collaborate with data colleagues to share knowledge and maintain standards.
