Job summary

UNFPA's Supply Chain Management Unit seeks a Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist (Manager) to lead the GRC function, embedding governance, risk, internal controls and compliance across SCMU.

You will partner with the Office of the Executive Director, regional and country offices, and external partners to embed GRC in decision‑making, support audits, capacity strengthening and continuous improvement, and champion ethical, risk‑aware leadership.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree required in related field.
• Experience in governance, risk and compliance in international settings.
• Fluency in English; other UN languages are an asset.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage change.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCMU's GRC framework and ensure policy standards.
• Coordinate audits, assurance and oversight activities.
• Develop capacity-strengthening initiatives for staff.
• Provide governance and risk advice across supply chain.
• Foster partnerships and resource mobilization.
