Mind Energy in Aarhus, Denmark, seeks a Senior Financial Controller who combines hands-on financial controlling with Group reporting and IFRS expertise. You will assess complex accounting questions, establish treatment, and translate conclusions into practical reporting solutions across the Group.

As Senior Financial Controller, you’ll combine hands‑on financial controlling and Group reporting with IFRS and technical accounting expertise. You’ll assess those questions, establish the accounting treatment and translate your conclusions into clear, practical reporting solutions across the Group.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the numbers while taking ownership of the accounting questions behind them. You’ll have room to apply your expertise across reporting processes, accounting governance and IFRS as the business develops.
Your work combines recurring financial controlling and Group reporting with accounting assessments that require deeper analysis.
You’ll join our Financial Controlling team, where collaboration, learning, high-quality reporting and strong processes are part of everyday work. Curiosity and practical thinking shape how the team approaches financial questions and grows.
Knowledge is shared openly, and colleagues challenge ideas constructively to improve controlling, reporting and compliance. You’ll have room to contribute your expertise from day one while continuing to develop professionally.
This position is based at our Aarhus office, with flexibility to work from home when it fits the work and the team. Expect around 5–10 days of travel each year.
You enjoy working close to the numbers and digging deeper when an accounting question requires it. You approach complex questions with curiosity and structure, connecting the details to the broader reporting picture and turning your conclusions into something others can use.
You don’t need to tick every box. What matters most is a solid controlling and financial reporting foundation, combined with the curiosity to dig into complex accounting questions.
