DTU Compute – Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark, seeks a Senior Officer to coordinate EU Horizon Europe projects in the energy sector, support grant acquisition, and connect the Dynamical Systems section with the wider department.

You bring a track record of end-to-end project leadership, hands-on EU funding experience, and a deep understanding of energy systems, enabling credible collaboration with researchers, industry partners, and public-sector

Qualifications

  • Experience managing or coordinating research and innovation projects, with a track record of leading projects end to end.
  • Hands-on experience with EU-funded projects, ideally Horizon Europe or Horizon 2020, including large multi-partner consortia.
  • Solid understanding of the energy and electricity sector, power grids, renewable energy integration, and system operation.
  • Ability to support grant and proposal writing, coordinating contributions from multiple partners, drafting and editing text.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate complex Horizon Europe projects in the energy sector.
  • Act as a connector between the Dynamical Systems section and the wider DTU Compute department.
  • Help turn ideas into funded projects by supporting grant acquisition and proposals.
