Job summary

DTU Compute – Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science – seeks a Senior Officer to coordinate Horizon Europe energy projects and connect the Dynamical Systems section with the wider department.

You will lead proposals, manage multi-partner consortia, report milestones, and ensure effective collaboration with researchers and industry partners in an international academic environment.

Qualifications

• Degree and 10+ years managing or coordinating research & innovation projects.
• Hands-on with EU-funded projects, e.g. Horizon Europe or Horizon 2020.
• Solid understanding of energy/electricity sector, grids, and integration.
• Support grant and proposal writing, coordinating contributions from partners.
• Ideation and grant acquisition, spotting funding opportunities, building proposals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Horizon Europe projects and manage multi-partner consortia.
• Lead grant proposal drafting and editing, align partner contributions.
• Chairs and organizes meetings, tracks timelines and milestones, ensures accountability.
